When the RVF began working with Joaquin he could hardly walk or talk. He was constantly bombarded with uncontrolled brain activity. Now, with adequate treatment, he can attend school (which he does religiously) and play a mean game of soccer with his friends. He is a happy boy with a beautiful smile. He loves life and wants to share all his joy with you—whether it is his artwork from school, the fruit that grows on his family’s property, or the ducks he and his father are raising. His mother is always tearful when she expresses her gratitude for the help she receives in caring for her son.
