MEDICAL CARE
We provide medical care to children who would otherwise go untreated. We provide funding for diagnoses, medications, surgeries, physical/ speech therapies, and hospital expenses. Without funding from the RVF, these children would not receive the medical care they so urgently need.

JOB TRAINING/LIVING WAGE
Our Community Health Worker Program (CHWP) trains and provides stipends for women and men from Montero to provide critical prevention services, such as vaccinations, malnutrition therapy, health education, prenatal care and family planning, and post-hospitalization follow-up visits. The workers earn stipends that allow them to raise their own families out of poverty, send their children to school, and further their own education.

EDUCATION
The Rosa Vera Fund provides a limited number of educational scholarships to community health workers. Currently, students are earning degrees in nursing, English and computer science. They plan to put their skills to work in the community of Montero.
